AKT Trading Inc of Torrance, CA, recalls prepared vegetable products manufactured by Choshiya Honten Co, Ltd due to potential Clostridium botulinum contamination. The absence of the "Keep Refrigerated" label increases the risk of bacterial growth when stored at room temperature, potentially causing botulism, a life-threatening condition.

This pathogen can cause serious infections, particularly in young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems.
