Missing Cleveland Man's Body Found In Pawnee County

An Oklahoma Department of Transportation crew found a man's body Friday afternoon. He has been identified as 50-year-old Thomas Tisher.

Tisher's death is being investigated as suspicious, authorities state.

Tisher's family filed a missing person's report with the Cleveland Police Department earlier this month, according to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation. An OSBI bulletin states the family told law enforcement Tisher went to the Osage Casino with a neighbor early December 8.

When the neighbor left, he couldn't find Tisher and left without him, according to OSBI.

The ODOT crew was preparing to do some work along Highway 412 near the Bear Glen exit bridge when they found Tisher's body just off the eastbound lanes. They called the fire department who then called the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators have not said how they believe Tisher's body had been there, but it was easily visible from the highway.

Investigators mapped the scene and were seen taking away evidence bags during the more than five hours spent examining the area where the missing man's body was spotted.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and Cleveland Police were also involved in the investigation.

Authorities did not release any information about the manner of Tisher's death.
